Charity Officer

I believe I would be a good Charity Officer as I bring relevant experience and a strong commitment to meaningful, member-led fundraising. I have previously worked with multiple charities, giving me an understanding of the organisation, planning, and communication needed to run successful events and initiatives. I am passionate about ensuring the charities we support reflect the values and interests of the society. I would involve members in the decision-making process so we choose charities that are meaningful to them, making fundraising more engaging and purposeful. In this role, I would aim to use a range of fundraising methods to maximise engagement and impact, ensuring we do the best we can for the charities we support. This could include events, challenges, and creative campaigns that appeal to different members and encourage wider participation. I also believe the role should not only raise money, but also raise awareness of the charities and what they stand for, helping members understand their wider impact. Overall, I am organised, approachable, and motivated to create inclusive and effective charity work.
