Vice-President

Hi, I’m Val, and I am very excited to run for Vice-President. I’ve been part of this team for two years now, and it’s been an amazing and fulfilling experience, it has helped me build my confidence and leadership skills. I would like to strengthen connections with other sporting societies, as also a member of Dance Society and having friends across several others, I feel I can use these connections to aid Badminton and other societies mutually. I would also like to work with the wellbeing officer to discuss and potentially arrange more events and other things to make freshers feel more welcome on the team and give them a chance to get to know people. I would act as the bridge between the committee and the rest of the team, ensuring all thoughts and feedback, be it praise, criticism or suggestions, are heard and are taken on board, so that sessions can be conducted and tailored in a way that will benefit everyone. I am organised, dedicated to the team and looking forward to another year playing with you all. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
