What is your Manifesto?

I’m running for Cricket Society President because I genuinely care about the club and the people in it. Over the last two years playing in the men’s first team, I’ve been part of a really successful setup, and I’ve seen what works—but also where we can still improve. For me, the biggest thing is making sure everyone feels involved and heard. No one wants a committee that feels out of touch, and I will be the person people can actually come to, whether that’s with ideas, issues, or just honest feedback. I want a club where everyone feels like they belong and can be themselves! I also want us to keep pushing both the men’s and women’s sides to be as competitive as possible in BUCS and Varsity, while still making sure there are opportunities across all levels for all within the club. Success shouldn’t come at the cost of enjoyment or inclusivity. Another big priority is keeping things affordable. Being part of a society should be accessible to everyone, and I’ll work to make sure costs don’t become a barrier. I’ve been around the club, I understand how it runs, and I’m ready to step up as our President.
