President

Hi, my name is Tolani, and I am running to be your President this year! I am super passionate about MedSoc and have been part of the society for 2 years as Pre-Clinical Social Secretary and Communications Officer, so I have a good understanding of how it functions. I’ve really enjoyed taking on responsibility in both roles and working across different aspects of MedSoc. I like to think I am friendly, approachable, and kind - please come and have a chat! My vision is to continue developing KMMS MedSoc into a fun, collaborative part of medical life and put it on the map with ideas for sporting events/conferences/sponsorships/partnerships, while also ensuring MedSoc feels welcoming and accessible to everyone, no matter their year or background. I’d love to support subsocs to reach their goals too! I really hope to build a great environment for my team and the community so everyone can thrive. I’ve recently enjoyed helping to host and design our balls this year, with ideas hopefully for a new Y4 social event! I love public speaking and creating joy in a room, and if you elect me as your President, hopefully I can do that for you all.
