The Golden Apple Awards are student-led awards that recognise staff from Canterbury Christ Church University for their contributions to the student experience. 

Unlike previous years, this is an ongoing opportunity for students to recognise staff from various departments from across the university - not just your lecturers - who have delivered a ‘golden’ standard of support, inclusion, mentorship and inspiration throughout the academic year. 

To award staff with a Golden Apple, students should complete the ‘Give a Golden Apple’ form or submit a paper response with one of our special post boxes dotted our campuses.

All staff awarded a Golden Apple, will receive a certificate and submission text (students will have the option to include their name or remain anonymous) that can then be added to the ‘Honours and Awards’ section of LinkedIn or printed out to display at home or in the office.

Staff awarded will also be showcased on our forthcoming, dedicated awards page. This webpage will host the history of all our awards at Christ Church Students’ Union, including the Golden Apples that have been running since 2010 as well as CCSU Celebrates, Societies, and Sports Federation awards.
