Standing together for respect
We are aware that an anti-immigration march is planned in Canterbury this Saturday from 10am, alongside a counter demonstration. The planned route includes the High Street, Broad Street, and Military Road. As with any public protest, there may be some disruption in the local area.
The University has confirmed the Canterbury Campus will remain open as normal, and Augustine House access will be via your Student ID Card. Shops in Canterbury have also been advised to remain open as usual.
We are saddened that these protests are happening in our locality, and we are proud of our inclusive, welcoming, and respectful student community.
