Futsal is the format of Small Sided Football that is recognised and supported by FIFA and UEFA with World and European Championships for club and National Teams. It is a five-a-side game, played with hockey sized goals and a smaller ball with a reduced bounce. As a small-sided game, players are constantly placed in situations where they must receive or play whilst under pressure or in confined spaces and it places considerable demand on technique, movement, tactical awareness and fitness.

CCCU Men's Futsal is one of the more recent clubs to join the CCCU roster, welcoming players of all backgrounds, abilities and skill to join. Most of the players have some football experience but it is not a necessity to have any, members can join at any skill level and they will be welcomed by a great team of different characters. Futsal is the perfect sport for those looking to improve their skills and fitness whilst gaining friendships and just having a kickabout.

We train at Christ Church Sports Centre on Tuesday's 8:15 - 9:45pm and the team competes regularly in BUCS matches on Sundays. There is also a social league that runs on a Friday evening in which the squad participates in for extra training or for a bit of fun.

We try to have a social night every Wednesday, be that as a night out at the SU, Tokyo Tea Rooms or Club Chemistry, but we also like to have more relaxed socials such as drinks together at Wetherspoons or watching the football at Penny Theatre. We are not a club that follows strict social rules so there is no obligation to drink at any gathering, its all personal preference.

We look forward to welcoming you to our club.
