🏉 Welcome to Christ Church Men’s Rugby 🏉
At Christ Church Men’s Rugby, inclusivity and enjoyment are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball before or you’ve played for years, we’re proud to be one of the most welcoming teams on campus and we go above and beyond to make sure there’s a place for everyone.
This year, we’ll be competing in the Southeastern Tier 2B league, led by our new head coach (Al Evans)  who’s bringing fresh energy and ambition to the squad. Whether you’re looking to play competitive rugby or just join in for the socials, every member is valued and part of the family.
We’re also proud to have a strong connection with Canterbury Rugby Club. This means new players are always guaranteed game time to build confidence and skills, while experienced players can push themselves by competing in Regional South East 2 or Nat 2 East. Whatever level you’re at, there’s an opportunity for you to grow.
Most importantly, we see ourselves as more than just a team – we’re a family. Rugby is about friendships, support, and creating memories on and off the pitch. We can’t wait to welcome new faces this September and continue building something special together.
