Welcome to the Men's Rugby Club

Here at Christchurch Men’s Rugby, inclusivity and enjoyment are at the forefront of our sports society. It’s the key to success in any university side, as many new students come from different schools and rugby clubs with different philosophies into a society that is largely driven through the players at the club with varying skill sets. This is what makes C4 so unique, it’s not just a team you play for, it’s a family that you spend so much time with and create memories with throughout your university life. Off the back of a challenging but enjoyable year, we start this year off with 2 teams again for the first time in a few years! Every single member of our club knows what it means to be a C4 member, the ups and downs and everything in between. We have really upped our game this year with new coaching staff, updated schedule with more player development incorporated, upgraded facilities and so much more. Any member is welcome, whether it is social or playing competitively, it makes no difference to your experience. New players will be given a more personalised experience and with the new addition of the 2XV team, it will allow new players who may not have much experience to develop their game at their own pace and progress their skills and confidence both on and off the pitch. We are a very close family here at C4 Men’s Rugby and look forward to the many new faces we’ll see come September!
