Volunteering

We are looking for an enthusiastic student volunteer to make a big difference on their campus. You will act as an ambassador for Mary’s Meals and support the Lead student volunteer in the formation and running of the Mary’s Meals student group at your university. In recent years, many dynamic and enthusiastic groups of students have begun to spread the word about Mary’s Meals on their campuses with amazing results! You will help to grow our movement by motivating and inspiring others to support our work to help us feed some of the world’s poorest children.

This role can work flexibly to suit your availability and other commitments. it requires    from as little as two hours per week and a minimum commitment of one academic year.

As a student volunteer you will:

• Support and help grow a group of Mary’s Meals student volunteers at your institution
• Support the lead student volunteer and the Mary’s Meals group to organise fundraising and awareness events and activities such as quizzes, stalls and sponsored challenges
• Work to develop contacts across your institution with other societies and departments to build the presence of Mary’s Meals on campus
• Help us generate support from businesses on and off campus
• Encourage student media opportunities
• Support your group in hosting community engagement events such as screening films about Mary’s Meals’ work.
