Kitchen Volunteer at the Day Centre

Catching Lives

Catching Lives Day Centre, Station Road East - Canterbury

Volunteers work within a team to plan, prep and serve a hot, nutritious meal to our clients at our day centre in Canterbury. We currently serve around 25 meals a day.

Shifts are 8:30am - 1:30pm and we have opportunities 7 days a week. If time is a barrier, still do think about getting in touch as we might be able to offer shorter shifts.

Ideally we are looking for a regular commitment (once a week for example) but we are also open to recruiting more ad-hoc volunteers for when gaps need filling.

This opportunity is a great way to help support people experiencing homelessness. In providing warm, nutritious food, we hope it can help our clients feel more motivated to engage in our other services and support.
