If you are free between Weds 9.30-12.30 & or Fri 1pm-3pm and have good communication, and interpersonal pm-skills? We are looking for volunteers who can help at our community clothing base in Sittingbourne. Welcoming service users into our hub, be a point of contact if they need assistance, helping adults find the clothing they require and preparing pre-orders for collection. Gain experience and transferable skills, whilst contributing to the community and playing a part in helping reduce clothing poverty.
Full role profile: Welcoming service users into our hub, be a point of contact if they need assistance, helping adults find the clothing they require and preparing pre-orders for collection. Capture basic client information on tablet.
Ensure stock levels on our rails are maintained for our service users to choose from and report back about items with low stocks.
Help maintain our sorting and clothing areas so clean and tidy.
Time commitment: Min 2 hour per week,
This role will be based at our Heather House SATEDA hub, Sittingbourne ME10 4NN (no parking on site), 5 mins from bus and train stations.
