Volunteering

You will play an important role by providing companionship to someone we support and spending time with them doing activities they enjoy. These might include reading books, playing board games, chatting over a cup of tea, etc.

At SeeAbility we specialise in supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, who may also have sight loss, to realise their goals each and every day. We're looking for befrienders in the Maidstone area to play an important role by providing companionship to someone we support and spending time with them doing activities they enjoy. These might include chatting over a cup of tea, reading books, playing board games, etc.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give something positive back to society and have a direct impact on people’s lives. Befriending is a great way to broaden horizons and meet new people.
