FUNDRAISING Volunteer role: 

  • To help prepare for and be present at fundraising events, supporting HOLG Fundraising team and our community fundraisers

Duties and responsibilities:

This fundraising role is enjoyable, very varied and could involve tasks such as:

  • Attending local events (Including Corporate events) across Kent, to raise awareness of HOLG and the services we provide to children and their families across Kent and the London border.
  • Building relations and networking with Corporate Partners and Local Communities across Kent.
  • Sourcing and making Grant applications for funding opportunities, with local and National organisations.
  • Help to organise and support our existing Fundraising Team with events. Also supporting local fundraisers with their own activities such as quiz nights, theatre nights, concerts etc.
  • Attending and being a representative at community events on behalf of HOLG. Building social and community relations, for future partnership working and funding opportunities.
  • Event times/days are varied. They run both weekdays and weekends, day and evenings depending on the specifics of the event being held.. So there are plenty of opportunities for you to join in with our Corporate clients, local businesses, schools or Kent residents.
