Volunteering

If you are free between Mon 9am-12noon & or Wed 1pm-4pm and have good communication, and interpersonal skills? We are looking for volunteers who can help at our Sharewear community base in Medway. Welcoming service users into our centre, be a point of contact if they need assistance, helping adults find the clothing they require and preparing pre-orders for collection. Gain experience and transferable skills, whilst contributing to community and playing a part in helping reduce clothing poverty.

Full role profile: Welcoming service users into our centre, be a point of contact if they need assistance, helping adults find the clothing they require and preparing pre-orders for collection.    

Our children’s clothing is not on rails, you will responsible for selecting and preparing a selection of clothing for parents/guardians to choose from when they visit our centre.    

Ensure stock levels on our rails are maintained for our service users to choose from and report back about items with low stocks.   

Help maintain our sorting and clothing areas so clean and tidy.  

Time commitment: Min 1 hour per week, max 4  hours per day

This role will be based at our Medway office at Fort Luton ME4 5XJ (free parking) Ideally suited for students Living near or going to Medway campus.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS which we can arrange as part of induction.
