Community Engagement Officer

Remote and local community areas in Kent.
Tasks are flexible and can be carried out online, with occasional outreach depending on your availability.

KSAF (Kent Safeguarding & Attendance Forum CIC) is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to support relationships with schools, community groups, student organisations, and partner services. This role is ideal for students interested in education, social sciences, youth work, community development, health and wellbeing, or public engagement.

You will help us connect with the community, raise awareness of our Family Outreach Programme, and support communications with partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Help build and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, and student organisations
  • Assist with outreach emails, contact lists, and follow-up communication
  • Support awareness campaigns about attendance, wellbeing, and safeguarding
  • Promote volunteer opportunities to local student groups and societies
  • Help prepare simple materials for events, talks, or online engagement
