About Us

For everyone who is curious about people!

The Psychology Society is a place for anyone who takes an interest in psychology. Whether you study the subject or something completely different, PsySoc can offer you a way to enhance your knowledge and meet like-minded people.

We are an academic society, so we like to provide educational events for our members when we can. We are in contact with professionals who specialise in different areas of psychology and engage with them to bring you an enhancement to your degree.

We also do regular social events where we can catch up with each other. We often attend the Society Takeovers at the SU, to support other societies and meet other students as well as provide wellbeing events and fun social events!

BPS (British Psychology Society) accredit the Psychology course, they provide different conferences throughout the year which would aid any student thinking of going down the route of psychology. These events have been designed to broaden your minds to different areas of study and work. It will also help you to network and make new contacts.

All our events will be on our Facebook site and Instagram. So, keep your eyes peeled!
