Cheerleading

Canterbury Christ Church cheerleading squad is an all girl squad, also known as the Jets. It is made up of 18 girls and 2 boys of differing ages, interests and backgrounds; but all have the common participation in the sport of cheerleading. We train twice a week at a local gym, and have additional training sessions in the lead up to competition. We support the other sports teams such as Football, Rugby and Netball when they have their games on Wednesdays. We compete yearly in a BCA national cheerleading competition in Telford. In 2018, we placed 2nd in the Co-Ed Level 2 Small  division and 5th in the All-Girl Level 1 Small division. We also place 2nd in the All-Girl Level 3 Group Stunt Division and top 10 in our other 5 group stunt performances!
