Welcome to the Women's Cricket Club

Hi and welcome to Women’s Cricket! We’re a fun and inclusive club looking for new members to join us. We play in indoor and outdoor BUCS seasons, as well as varsity against UKC. Whether you’re a 1st year or currently at uni, we’re looking for players of all abilities, new or old to cricket to come and join us. Our team currently has a mix of abilities ranging from club and county level to never picking up a bat before. Joining a sports team is the best way to make lifelong friendships, making amazing memories along the way. We train every Monday 5:30-7:00 at Polo Farm, and will hold extra training sessions closer to varsity. We compete in indoor and outdoor BUCS fixtures against teams across the south east. Our indoor and outdoor varsity against our local rivals, University of Kent, is always the highlight of our competitive year. In previous years we’ve had success winning outdoor varsity last year, as well as travelling to Birmingham in 2022 to compete in the nationals finals where we came top 8 in the UK for women’s indoor cricket!
