Cricket (Women's)

Canterbury Christ Church Women’s Cricket is a fun and chilled out sports team. We play in indoor and outdoor seasons as well as participating in Varsity against UKC. Players of all abilities welcome!

looking to join a club, try something new or even play your favourite sport while at university? Women's cricket are looking for new players to join us in our fun and friendly team! Whether you are a fresher or currently at uni we are looking for players of all abilities, new or old to cricket to join us! We've had many girls join us from other sports teams or with zero experience of cricket and they come to love the sport! We have one team, playing in both indoor and outdoor BUCS fixtures against other universities in the UK. We also compete in an indoor and outdoor varsity against our local rivals, Univeristy of Kent. We've had previous success this year where we managed to get to the national finals and become top 8 in the UK for women's indoor cricket which we are so proud of and would love new players to experience that too!
Joining a sports team is one of the best way to meet amazing friends, whether that's with another sport or with us, we recommend joining just for the experience and friendships made! Whether you want to play competitive cricket, train with us or even join for the social side so you get the full university experience we welcome you and would love to see you! Come and join us, make friends for life, play a sport and make amazing memories!
training is normally on a Friday night however due to closely following government guidelines we are waiting to move onto our indoor training so watch our Facebook page and Instagram for updates on when training is.
