Lacrosse (Mens)

Lacrosse, often called the fastest game on 2 feet, is a fast paced, full contact sport originating from the Native American game played for centuries where the object of the game is to score in the opponents’ goal by launching the ball from the sculpted net on the end of the stick. The game involves 10 men per side, 1 goaltender, 3 defensemen who play with 6ft poles who must be tough and stand their ground, 3 midfielders who need endurance and can take a hit and 3 attackers who need to nimble and find space to score. The game lasts for 4 20 minute quarters and is a nonstop push with rolling subs where stick checking and full body tackles are common.
