The newly established KMMS MedSoc offers something for all who are interested in medicine- whether you are a medical student, a prospective medical student or an allied health professional! Throughout our inaugeral year we will be hosting social events, allowing you to connect with other like-minded people and webinar's offering interesting insights into the world of medicine. This will include guest speakers from different specialties, as well as workshops around admissions, and applying for jobs at the end of your studies. We will also be organising interactive group study sessions and OSCE practice when exam time comes around.
We have big plans for MedSoc this year and, as soon as COVID-19 allows us, are gearing up for some spectacular parties, including establishing KMMS's very own MedSoc Ball! In addition, we will be establishing MedSoc sports teams, and sub-societies such as an African Carribean Medical society and a Humanitarian Medicine society.
A brand new MedSoc offers endless opportunities for exciting new ventures, and we are keen to cater to the needs of our members. Feel free to drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any ideas or questions.
