The Campus Pantry is a service that provides short-term support to students who find themselves in need of supplemental food.

How the pantry works

  1. Please only use the pantry if you are in need, as this will ensure we are able to provide enough meals through our limited funding.
  2. Add the meal plan to your basket and check out.
  3. You will get an order confirmation and receipt emailed to your university email account.
  4. Collect your meal plan during the specified collection time (stated below and on your receipt).

What is in a meal plan?

In most cases the meal plans will consist of either:

  • A bag of rice, Curry sauce, and one can of tinned vegetables.

  • A bag of pasta, Pasta sauce, and one can of tinned vegetables.

Available Meal Plans

These are added automatically each week

Where to collect your meal

  • You must collect your meal plan from the Students’ Union reception located on the CCCU Campus (Mary Seacole, North Holmes Road, Canterbury CT1 1QU) during the allocated collection period.
  • Current collection period: Tuesdays, 13:00-15:00*

Usage limits

To ensure fair use of the pantry the following limits are in place.

  • A student can only get 1 meal plan a week.
  • A student can only get a maximum of 5 meal plans in an academic year.

The pantry is only intended for short term relief. If you are finding this to be a regular need then please use the information below.
