Do you want to learn first aid or hone your knowledge? or even volunteer with St John  Ambulance? Do you want to learn the skills to help save a person’s life? Then come and join the First Aid Society.

We meet every Monday at 1900 - 2030  ( 1 month at UKC, 1 month at CCCU), to learn about different aspects of first aid, from CPR to asthma. You have the opportunity to become not only a member of the First Aid Society but join St John  Ambulance as a volunteer, and join the Student Volunteering Unit. As a volunteer you will be able to go out and put your first aid skills into action on events in Canterbury, in Kent or even in London. Get hands on with some of the equipment you could use, whilst taking part in role-play exercises. There will also be nights we we just get together for a fun night to relieve the stress of Uni life.

We welcome anyone and everyone regardless of your skill level from being a total beginner to being really advanced. We will give you all of the skills and knowledge you need to be amazing first aiders. If you join St John Ambulance, alongside going to events you will have the opportunity to develop your skills not only in first aid but in training, assessing and managing events.

Everybody is welcome!!!
