Dodgeball is the sport for you!

Come along to Christ Church’s first-ever Dodgeball Society. Learn the skills and
rules related to dodgeball, have fun making new friends and even have the
opportunity to play competitive dodgeball in the future. Dodgeball will be run for the
whole academic year as it is an indoor sport – meaning the weather cannot affect us!
Our aim is to expose the Christ Church student community to the enjoyable, ever-growing sport of dodgeball.

We are a brand new society with CCSU, so if you are eager to get involved, come and find us.

Dodgeball sessions will be hosted at Christ Church Sports Hall on Monday (17:00 –
18:30) and Thursday (17:30 – 18:30). Throughout the year, the dodgeball society will
host different events, these will be confirmed with the members prior to the event.

Membership for our society for the academic year will be £8, you will be able to
attend all dodgeball events. You might be given the opportunity to compete in dodgeball events going forward.

You will have to obtain the Participate Christ Church Sports membership.

Medical Disclaimer

When purchasing your membership, we need you to share any pre-existing medical conditions, illnesses or injuries by completing this form. This will enable us to provide support to you throughout your time involved in sports clubs and societies. We need you to keep us updated if any circumstances change. 

Once you have shared this information, we will ask you to gather medical evidence showing that doctors have signed you off and have given you the go ahead to participate. It helps us work with our insurance provider to ensure we are all covered and of staff to make sure your needs are met. If you need support in gathering the medical evidence, then a member of staff can contact you, once you have completed the form.

Any information you give us will only be shared with Christ Church Sport, Christ Church Students’ Union, and the president of your committee. This helps ensure your safety and risk assessments to mitigate any issues.
