University Mental Health Day!!!

Hey guys!

This Thursday, 1st March 2018 is University Mental Health Day!

We've got loads planned for it;

In the morning at 10am, the University senior management team will be signing the Time To Change pledge, which aims to end mental health stigma and discrimination. This is a great step forward for the University and their mental health policy! This will take place in the Staff Common Room (SCR), which is underneath the main canteen in Anselm, on the North Holmes Road Campus.

For more information on the Time To Change pledge please visit their website: https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/

The library are looking for informal feedback on ways to improve, this will be held on 2nd floor in Augustine House and lunch will be provided for people who come! While this is going on, the Students' Union will be around campus giving out stickers and asking students to fill out postcards for people's tips on what they do for mental health, and we will be advertising the main event!

Finally, the main event! From 2-4pm in the Chapel at Anselm, we will be have cuddly animals in for students to come and destress! We will have hedgehogs, rabbits and skinny pigs who will be available to cuddle! We will also be making a display of the postcards and asking students to fill them out there to pin up on to boards!

We hope you will be able to make it a great day and be able to talk about mental health!
