We had a great Freshers’ Week with over 4500 students attending our Freshers’ Fayres and thousands more attending our daytime and evening events and now we’re looking forward to another year at Christ Church!
Leadership Team and Elections
All our students are automatically members of the Students’ Union and now we want you to use your vote and elect our SU President and our Union Council. You also get to vote in your Broadstairs Officer too!
Voting is open 12-14 October at http://ccsu.co.uk/elections and all you need to do it login with your University login details and vote. It's your democratic right so please don't waste it.

New SU Space
Have you seen the new SU Space on Campus? Come along to CG13 for somewhere to relax between lectures and use our computers or have a game of FIFA16 on the Xbox. The space is open until 10pm so feel free to pop-in at your leisure.
Sports Clubs and Societies
We have 40 sports clubs and 50 societies with more added each week but don’t worry if you’ve not joined any yet. Sign-ups available all year round so head to http://ccsu.co.uk/activities and get involved. If there’s nothing that that appeals then don’t you start your own?
You can join any one you like but if you want to join a Broadstairs-based society then they're all listed here.
Have you see our new outside table tennis table too? Bats and balls are always there so enjoy!
Student Media
If you’re interested in journalism or TV then have we got news for you! Here at Christ Church we have a magazine called UNIfied and a TV channel, CCTV, and we’re actively recruiting! If you’d like to get involved in either of those (or both!), send an email to sophie@ccsu.co.uk or check out http://ccsu.co.uk/activities/media/.
If you fancy getting even more involved, applications for student media committee positions are open until Wednesday 14 October.
NUS Extra
Everyone loves a bit of discount so get on to nus.org.uk/extra and get your NUSExtra card. For just £12 (that’s a teensy £1 a month) you can get loads of discounts on loads of stuff from pizza to iPads!
Don’t forget, if you didn’t get a Students’ Union goodybag in your room or from registration, you can pick one up from the SU Office.
