Challenge US to make your time at Christ Church the best it can be. Fill out a postcard telling us your thoughts. You can find them in Canterbury at Touchdown in Laud and Anselm foyer.

Alternatively come along to Union on Tour and talk to your elected sabbatical officers. They will be at your campus once a month to hear what you have to say about your time as a student Your next Union on Tour is 15 January 11:30-1:30 in Touchdown.

Union Council #CCSUvoice

The next Union Council Meeting is 18 January 1-3pm in the Students’ Union boardroom. All Christ Church students can attend Union Council meetings held every month.

Union Council are the elected student representatives who make student-created policies to improve the lives of students here at Christ Church.

If you would like to propose an idea for debate and discussion by Union Council, fill out this form by Sunday 10th January 2016.

If you can’t make it to the meeting, you can follow the live stream of the meeting via Periscope on our christchurchsu Twitter account.

Election Nominations  25 January. Could you lead your Students’ Union? Nominate yourself for one of four elected sabbatical officers and make a difference to the lives of Christ Church students. www.ccsu.co.uk/elections

Housing Seminars 28/1 and 4/2. Get advice on looking for private rented accommodation in seminars run by CCSU Advice Centre.

Varsity 13-17 Feb. Come and support all the students competing for your university against local rivals, University of Kent. http://canterburyvarsity.com/

Student Activities Awards 10 March. Celebrate the achievements of societies, volunteers, Union Council and student media. Tickets go on sale next week. Read how last year's awards went

Fill US In Winners

Congratulations to the students who won a prize after completing the Fill US In Survey!

Massive congratulations to Kirsty Law who won the big prize of £500!

Konstantinos Tsiolas will put his £100 towards visiting family in Cyprus.

Susan Fletcher will use her £100 to visit her brother, who she hasn’t seen for 5 years.

Well done to the other winners of £100, Stacey Ocha and Rebecca Glendining.

Emily Colbear won a bonus £50 for using a student rep code, and Student Rep, Victoria Holman won £50 after her code was used the most!

Don’t forget to claim your free hot drink from Barista & Baker by January 31st. All entrant will have got an email in December with more details,

Elior Staff Awards

Elior, the company who run The Lounge and Barista & Baker have nominated three of our staff for awards for their hard work and quality of service they provide. The awards ceremony takes place in April and they could win an all expenses-paid 5* trip of a lifetime.
