Nominations for the Student Elections are open until 13th Feb 2019 and we're looking for people who can champion student causes, represent the student body and campaign for change.

What are the roles?

There are four full-time, paid positions you can stand for and you will need to take a year out of your studies or take once graduated if you are in your final year. The majority of previous candidates have decided to run for election whilst they're in their final year at Uni but some have chosen to take a year out in the middle of their course.

Candidates’ Workshop - Tuesday 22 Jan

Come along to our candidates' workshop to find out more about the roles on offer, and get some tips on running a successful election campaign. Tuesday 22nd January (2-3pm) in The Lounge Bar, Canterbury.
 
Five reasons why you should stand
  1. Be the change! Make a stand for what you believe in at CCCU and nationally.
  2. Stand out to future employers. The experience you will gain is unique and invaluable!
  3. Be a Director of a million-pound organisation and a Charity Trustee.
  4. Earn £18,500 for your year in office.
  5. Meet loads of new people, develop your skills and build new confidence.

When is voting?

Nominations close 13th Feb and then all students can vote online 4-7 March (Last year over 2350 students took part).
