Hello. We're back with an update from your students' union where we're looking for your feedback as well as pointing you in the direction of some useful events.
 
Has the Cost of Living and Learning Crisis has negatively impacted your studies?

The Cost of Living & Learning Crisis is affecting all students at Christ Church and we want to understand how the Crisis is affecting you personally.

We need students to complete this survey ccsu.co.uk/costofsurvey, and the more the better.

Not that you need an incentive but we'll send you a £3 food voucher for The Lounge or The Deep End to use during February as a small thank you.

The survey closes 31 Jan 2023 so please pass this on to fellow students so we can get their views too.

Missed out on Freshers’ Fayre?

The Refreshers' Fayre is coming and we would like to invite you to join us on Canterbury Campus (Verena Holmes building), on Tuesday 31 January 11am-3pm.

This your opportunity to meet student societies, sports clubs, get some freebies, and also find how to make the most of your time at Christ Church.
 
Can you speak out for students at Christ Church?

Whether you’re studying with us next year or graduating from Christ Church you’ve got the opportunity to enter the race and be elected as one of the next full-time paid Presidents (in office start July 2023 - end June 2024) 

Whether you want to improve students’ academic experiences, champion diversity, or increase engagement in sports and societies there is a position here for you. 

Nominations open Monday 30 January, close on Monday 20 February 2023, and we'll be email all students with more information next week.

Need help referencing for an assignment? Unsure how to prepare for exams? Interested in learning a new skill?

Join the Learning Skills Team on Wednesdays 12:30pm-1:30pm from 8 Feb in Tea & Toasty (formerly Cafe 41) in the St. George’s Centre, Canterbury, CT1 1UT)

Then from 1:30pm-3:30pm the Careers and Enterprise team will be running free workshops on how to make money. Sign-up here.
