Last week (24-31 October 2022) all Christ Chruch students were given the chance to vote in a referendum to decide on the future of Christ Church Students' Union (CCSU) and their affiliation to the National Union of Students (UK).
"Should Christ Church Students' Union leave the National Union of Students' (UK)?"
Voting closed at midday on Monday 31 October 2022 and the results are as follows:
YES we should LEAVE the NUS (UK) - 176 (37%)
NO we should STAY in the NUS (UK) - 298 (63%)
The quorum (minimum votes needed) for the referendum was 250, so with 474 votes, it means that CCSU will remain affiliated to NUS (UK).
