East African Playgrounds charity held their awards night and CCSU RAG were given a special mention.
The Christ Church Students' Union Raise And Give (RAG) society raises thousands of pounds for charity each year and one of their chosen charities is East African Playgrounds.
East African Playgrounds is a charity that believes that alongside education, children need access to play activities to reach their full potential.
Our students don't often get the recognition they deserve but on Wednesday 16th April the East African Playgrounds charity held their awards night and CCSU RAG were given a special mention as they're in the top 20 universities for their fundraising efforts.
A total of £20,548 has been raised so far putting them in the top 20 donors and it's a great achievement to know that this money is going to such a good cause.
