Green Impact is an initiative run by the National Union of Students with the aim of promoting sustainability and our impact on the environment.
81 Students' Unions took part in NUS Green Impact and were assessed across 50 sustainability actions encompassing a breadth of activities from campaigning and influencing to conducting sustainability research and inducting and training student and staff members.

Top seven in the country
58 unions reached the audit stage and we have finished in the top seven Students' Unions in the country! We were awarded a total of 314 points which is 49% higher thant the average score across all participants in Green Impact Students’ Unions this year.

The official auditor for Green Impact had this to say “Christ Church Students' Union have improved drastically from previous Green Impact submissions. They have a fantastic relationship with the university and have ran some really engaging campaigns this year, which saw harder to reach societies taking part in their events. The majority of their work is new this year, which shows how much their sustainability work has taken off this year. Would like to see them developing their monitoring and evaluation as this will help them to prove the reach and importance of their work.”
