Last week the National Students’ Survey – the comprehensive piece of annual research into students’ perceptions of their university experience – was published and Christ Church Students’ Union has seen a significant jump.

With a change in the response mechanism this year, removing a ‘neutral’ option, the SU sector has seen a significant positive bump in performance with the average satisfaction for SUs rising 15.80%; however, Christ Church Students’ Union has risen still further, 25.1% in total, from 48% (2021/22) to 73.4% (2022/23).

The Students' Union, enabled by a significant investment by the University, created a brand new Student Voice Team in September 2022 in recognition that representing our members is our core purpose and number one priority.  The new Team has, working with the Sabbatical Officer Leadership Team, Course Reps, and students, revitalised Student Voice at Christ Church and this recognition from final year survey respondents is a testament to their efforts.  There is always more to do, and Christ Church Students' Union look forward to driving further improvements in academic representation with our new strategy - Your Best Student Life - from September 2023.
