Last night (6th May 2020) saw the NSVAs awards ceremony livestreamed on Facebook and one of our students won an award!

What are the NSVAs?

The National Societies & Volunteering Awards (NSVAs) is an opportunity to recognise the awesome things students do everyday with their societies and volunteering programmes.

There are thousands of students involved in societies and volunteering; dedicating their time to causes that matter to them, putting on amazing events, creating opportunities for other students and making a difference in communities. These students deserve to feel valued for their efforts and the NSVAs are all about thanking and celebrating everyone involved in societies and student volunteering as brilliant as it is.

A worthy winner

Christ Church Students' Union are proud to announce that one of our students, Adam Parsons, was the winner of The Extra Mile Award. Adam was shortlisted along with 10 other worthy students from around the UK

Adam has worked a full-time job, part-time study and ran successful societies. Adam also sits on the Executive Committee for societies and is on hand whenever the Union require his support or challenge to continue our work. He gives 100% effort at every turn, supporting others before himself as well as pushing everyone around him to be better at whatever it is they're doing.

Well done Adam.
