February is LGBT+ History Month, a month-long celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual and Non-Binary history around the world. We want to share the experiences of the LGBT+ community, raise awareness of the societal issues still faced by LGBT+ people, and celebrate the diverse students and staff we have here at Christ Church.

“We value the diversity of our student body and the communities we live in.  This, together with a commitment to equality of opportunity and actively removing barriers to participation, ensures we have an accessible, inclusive, and cohesive culture.” - CCSU Values 2021

CCSU is committed to being an inclusive and safe space for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We believe in equality for all.

The theme for this year is Mind, Body, and Spirit. We understand that due to the current lockdown, some of our students may be stuck in environments where they can’t fully express themselves, but we hope that you can benefit from the resources and activities we are organising this month.

Keep an eye out on our social media for events and collaborations with our LGBT+ Society.
