Puppy Day was epic cuteness

What a great valentine's day treat as the puppies came back to Christ Church for students and staff to get some puppy love.

What more could you want on Valentine's Day as Puppy Day returned to Christ Church to bring some much needed cuteness to students at staff at the uni.

The Students’ Union brought 10-week-old puppies., and their mum, to CCCU and for 2 hours Augustine Hall was transformed into puppy paradise. Sometimes you just need to take a break and take joy from these little bundles running around and having fun.

Almost 300 students and staff came along to the event paying £1 to spend 5 mins in with the puppies with all proceeed going to TAG Pet Rescue Centre in Thanet.

TAG Pet Rescue exists to care for and rehome vulnerable animals. They don’t receive government funding so rely on donations, income from their shops and the tireless work of volunteers to keep the centre going; it’s a true labour of love. Founded in 1988, TAG has become one of the largest animal charities in Thanet.

TAG started in the homes of the charity's founders, however its current home, the TAG Pet Rescue Sanctuary, opened in 2002 after it became clear that more space was needed. Legacies, donations and fundraising events helped make the sanctuary what it is today; a peaceful, safe haven for all of the amazing animals it homes.

A great time was had by humans and canines alike and lots of cuddles and puppy play time was had by all. Check out the video below to see more cuteness.
