This week students have been voting in a referendum to decide on the future of Christ Church Students' Union (CCSU) and their affiliation to the National Union of Students (NUS).
"Should Christ Church Students' Union remain affiliated to the National Union of Students?"
The polls were open for 48 hours, closing at midday on Friday 3rd May 2019, with 378 students choosing either Yes (remaining part of NUS) or No (disaffiliating from NUS).
At 1pm the votes were counted and the results are as follows:
YES 204
NO 174
This means CCSU will remain affiliated to NUS.
