Catholic Society

The Catholic society is group open for all students especially Catholics, and those asking the important questions of faith. We are dedicated to bringing young people closer to God through the teaching of the Catholic church.

We hold regular meetings on Monday night starting at 6:30 with events such as guest speakers, talking on wide ranging issues, prayer evenings and social events. We will have a variety of subsidised activities including trips to London a key catholic shrines including a retreat to Walsingham the National Shrine of Our Lady. We aim to support students spiritually throughout while giving answers to life’s bigger questions.

We also try to work around Canterbury providing some small support for those in need such as the homeless. We also work with our local Catholic church St Thomas Becket in Burgate to help further relationship with Christ through the sacraments while at university.
