Medieval Combat Society

Form up recruits!

Are you ready to learn how to swing a sword without taking your own head off? Passionate about the medieval era? A fan of armed and armoured swordplay? Or just looking for an interesting new hobby?

If you answered yes to one or more of those questions, then congratulations! Consider yourself successfully recruited, and we expect to see you at the society promptly.

What do we do?

We offer equipment and facilities to train and challenge yourself and others in a safe and controlled environment.

Our main focus is to show you the ropes, we can teach you the footwork and stances the rest is up to you.

In terms of the styles of Fighting, we tend to follow a mix of HEMA and fencing Guidelines and use a range of different weapons.

This year we are adding LARP into the fold of what we do. This will range from learning how to make your own costume, to attending a LARP event.

When and Where?

We generally meet on Fridays from 5 pm - 7.30 pm, where may vary from week to week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email the president, or join the Facebook group and ask there.
