Law & Mooting Society

The CCCU Law & Mooting Society is open to all Law, ‘Law with’, and Legal Studies students. Buy purchasing an annual membership for just £10, you get exclusive access to networking events, training opportunities and invites to socials and other exciting activities. Society Membership is a great way to help students get the most out of their University life.

The society also organises trips to local courts and London to visit prominent legal landmarks such as the Supreme Court, Old Bailey, Houses of Parliament, etc. Socials are organised regularly ranging from a usual night down the pub, pub crawls, and quiz nights, to more energetic events like Bowling, Laser Tag and more.

Alongside this, the society aims to organise various networking events, including the annual Law Dinner, throughout the year to ensure that students have the opportunity to mingle with local solicitors and barristers and gain contacts which will allow them to develop their prospects of employability.

Ultimately, the CCCU Law & Mooting Society aims to provide students with various academic and employability opportunities to develop upon their skillset, whist still having fun and integrating all three year groups in the meantime.
