Faculty Reps
At the top, we have 3 Faculty Reps for each Faculty that exists in the university. The Faculty Reps create a network of communication with School Reps. Faculty Reps engage with School Reps to formulate an overall understanding of how students feel about their courses. Faculty Reps must be constantly engaged with their respective School Reps. Once dialogue is established between Faculty Reps and School Reps, the Faculty Rep is then well prepared to discuss how students across schools feel with multiple departments of the university. A Faculty Rep represents students by sitting on University Committees and Working Groups.

School Reps
At the centre, we have 10 School Reps for each school in the university. The School Rep creates a network of communication with Course Reps. School Reps must be constantly engaged with Course Reps that belong to their respective school. Once dialogue is established between School Reps and Course Reps, the School Rep is prepared to discuss how students feel about their courses within that particular school.
A School Rep will interact with multiple departments as they sit on the Faculty Quality Committee and the Faculty Learning, Teaching and Assessment Committee. The School Rep will also be engaging with their respective Faculty Reps to provide Faculty Reps with information on how students from each school are finding their academic experience.

Course Reps
At the base, we have a large body of Course Reps comprising around 500 students. Course Reps represent every student on their course during meetings with staff members (Student Forum). These meetings aim to understand how students on each course engage with their respective courses. The Course Rep is an important point of reference for any student as they will establish a communication network with their course members and help signpost classmates. The Course Rep will also be engaging with their respective School Reps to provide School Reps with information on how students across courses are finding their experience.
Course Reps are voted in through an in-class election. To become a Course Rep, simply contact your Course Director and inform them of your interest. If you are unsure of who your Course Director is contact us on coursereps@ccsu.co.uk and we will help you find your Course Director.
