If you are having an issue with your purchase through this website then please consult the topics below in the first instance before contacting the Students' Union.

Christ Church Students' Union does not process or store any card details and payments are processed through Sage Pay's payment gateway.

Things to Check first

If you have tried to process transactions using a Sage Pay payment page but your card has been rejected then double-check:

  • The card number length 
  • The issue number 
  • The card type
  • The address. Please ensure you put in the address where the card is issued as this may not be your term time address.

My card details are correct but my card is still getting rejected

In some instances there may be an issue with the way your browser handles the payment website so please try using a different browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome).

It could be that there is an issue with your actual card and you can contact Sage Pay on 0845 111 4455 with the first 9 digits of your card and they will be able to check if your card is supported by Sage Pay.

Not received a receipt?

Your receipt will have been sent to your University email address, or if you have set up a Guest account (if you're not yet a fully registered student) which you will need to have verified.

What next?

If you have tried all the above then please contact us. If time is an issue then an alternative option is to get a friend or relative to make the payment for you using their card and you reimbursing them.
